The CRAZY FRENZY of the Elk Rut in Estes Park, CO
September 21, 2009 | Estes Park | Vetting explained
This is video of the elk rut in Estes Park, CO. The elk are full into the rut (elk breeding season) now and are just going crazy. They are sparring, bugling and running around trying to herd their harems. The elk don't care if people are around so caution is advised...they can charge at any moment! The herds are all around town, and are on the golf course, the walking/biking path and around Lake Estes!
