flood at Columns Drive
September 21, 2009 | Marietta, Georgia | Vetting explained
Hundreds of people are stranded this morning on their way to work due to a flood of a small creek on Columns Drive, just north of the city of Atlanta.
The videos are of the creek's point of entry in to the Chattahoochee River, and shows flooding into the yards of local residents and the successful attempy by one SUV to brave the waters. The creek is normally about six feet below the bridge.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
