Carters Response Correct
September 21, 2009 | Chesapeake, Virginia | Vetting explained
A large amount of white people voted for the president.
I know a majority of white people who voted for him still support him.
It is not his race that bothers some people it is the ECONOMY and the loss of JOBS that are bringing down his approval rating . That includes all people.
Carter was not referring to them. He was only speaking of those right wing extremists, and racists who are acting outrageous and hateful. And that is being stroked by their leaders feeding myths.
Of course when the president was elected in November he said, " it may take more than a year" to turn the country around, but many people are getting antsy because it is hitting home. Well it may take another year.
We are in the largest recession in many years.
That is why financial specialist have always said people should save for hard times.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
