Plane Crash Near Munice, Indiana

Two miles east of Fairview, Indiana a small airplane crashed on the land of Ronald and Leigh Chalfant just off highway 28 in Randolph county. The plane had been traveling from Grand Rapids, Michigan to Muncie, Indiana. Local and state police were on hand. There were two news helicopters and a state police helicopter circling the crash site, which was not visible from highway 28. Sources at the scene stated there was a small fire that was put out.
