I don't know about everyone else, but I'm sick and tired of listening to the Republicans and Democrats fighting over the silliest of things.  As a matter of fact, I'm sick and tired of only hearing the words "Republican" and "Democrat".  Can we not get other parties in the White House?  NO!  And why is that?  It is because the other parties don't have the money generating capacity that the Democrats and Republicans have.

This, my friends is an outrage!  The Independent Party doesn't have a chance!  The Libertarian Party doesn't have a chance!  The Green Party doesn't have a chance!  The only parties who ever have a chance of actually winning are the Democrats and Republicans; and to tell you the truth, I'm tired of both!

We need new blood making some decisions in our country.  We saw what 8 years on one did and we're about to find out the hard way what 8 years of the other is going to do.  So how do we make it so that the other Parties actually have a chance of winning?

Well for starters, we must take away the need for the candidates to raise tens of millions of dollars.  It seems that whoever can raise the most money is the one who's going to win the election.  Money shouldn't be a factor in who becomes President of the United States of America.

Our Government should either give each candidate a set amount of money for the election (they give money to everyone else, why not for the election) or set a max amount that can be raised.  This amount should not be tens of millions of dollars either.  It should be just enough money for a candidate to campaign for one month.  That's right, one month of campaigning.  I don't know about you, but I was so sick and tired of hearing the same exact speech in every city that now President Obama and Senator John McCain visited.  With TV and the Internet, campaigning should be much easier and cheaper than having to travel all over the Nation delivering the same ole message.

After one month of attack ads, speeches, etc... the candidates can then get together and have a debate.  Not multiple debates, just one.  There's no need to have multiple debates telling the American people what you're going to do, when it can and should be done in one debate.  Furthermore, whoever wins is just going to go back on what they said anyway, so there's no need for us to listen to it on multiple occasions.

Maybe this would allow more people from other Parties to get elected to the House and Senate as well as the White House.  Neither the Democrats nor Republicans really stand for what they use to stand for anyway.  It's all just on the surface.

I personally feel that if we don't make these changes, that the current two Parties are going to rip this country apart!

I don't have all the answers, but this has to be a good start!
