Not only our presence in America has influenced the US culture, but we are contributing with our music. While today several clubs play Cuban music, one of the oldest forms of Rumba is making entrance in our society. Guaguanco, a derivate of African religious tradition with a unique Cuban touh, appears to be extending its roots.

I predict that Guaguanco will spread stronger than Cha did, for this rhythm, unlike Cha, requires only feelings. If you feel it, you can do it.

We have already contributed with Casin (best known as Salsa), now Guaguanco is moving slowly to claim a place in the US.

I figured that many Latinos have already said about their hard work and achievement; I just wanted to mention that our culture is here with us and influencing the society to experience it.

Thanks God, now I don't have to die thinking that the music I learnt to dance to when I was Five, is not going to be around me to see me gone.
