We moved to Buda in the summer of 2009. My daughter entered Buda Elementary, an Exemplary school in Buda Texas, Hayes School District.   Word of advice DO NOT MOVE TO BUDA, DO NOT ATTEND BUDA ELEMENTARY!!  Watch your back at Hays Independent School District and Dr Jeremy Lyons.  It is a very long and involved story, however, I will tell you that the following people at Buda Elementary and Hays school district office havebeen involved in falsifying my daughters school records. They falsified her attendance report, They falsified her attendance, They falsified the ARD meeting and the results. ARD is for children with disablities and has to supposedly follow federal guidelines. The first person Debbie Koberlein, the attendance clerk at Buda Elementary is incompetent. The principal Debbie Schroeder and the  Vice Principal Charla Salmeron are even worse. My daughter's teacher Melissa Sweet, the speech teacher Mrs. Wristen all were involved in destroying my daughter's education at Buda Elementary because she was a transfer student and a child with a speech disability. When my daughter was sick and then returned to school the attendance clerk Debbie Koberlein did not keep correct records.She then a truant officer, Mr Saucedo out to the house, stating my daughter was not in school the day before....when in fact she was because we took her out for a doctor's appt and then went to the ARD meeting for her speech. The school knew they screwd up, however, once we had the ARD meeting and they  realized that Sarah was having health issues they decided they falsify federal documents, and try to get Sarah removed from Buda. You see they get paid more from the state based on attendance and apparently we were ruining their attendance rating.  On Sept 18, 2009 we finally pulled our daughter out of the public school system  and Buda Elementary. From that point on it has become an even worse nightmare. In requesting her records we found they had falsified her records stating we pulled her out of school on Sept 15,2009. Ms Debbie Koberlein signed the documents as my daughter's parent and guardian. The nurse, Ms. Schmidt, the nurses assistant who is also Debbie Koberlein, the librarian, the counselor Ms. Daniels  and the Vice Principal Charla Salmeron signed the document.

We also found out they falsified her attendance record ending it on Sept 15, 2009, instead of September 18, 2009. The truant officer Mr Saucedo along with the district have not turned over the results of his truant visit....the reason...we have found out they wrote a letter stating there was another home visit on Wednesday Sept. 16...which there was not. so they falsified another document to fit their needs.

The ARD representative,Jennifer Gelsone who oversees children with disabilities and their education according to federal laws did not sign the ARD meeting report after she typed it up.  They asked me to initial a piece of paper and when I asked why they stated it was for medicaid. I explained that we had insurance and my daughter was not on medicaid. Both Ms. Gelsone and Ms Wristen then went on to say "Just in case something happen where my husband lost his job or something they would have it on file." Well they refuse to give me a copy of that form I initialed. I believe the school along with the district is messing around with medicaid for children with disabilites. Ms Gelsone being an ARD Representative knew if she signed my daughter's ARD Report she would be committing federal fraud....she's not stupid...knowing the federal laws and guidelines is her job! I'm not sure what they are doing with that report but it would not surprise me if someone started investigating the school and their staff, snakes would crawl out of the grass. The sad part of this is the staff at Hays School District is just as involved in the fraud and falsification of my daughter's records. As of last Friday they turned over documents that showed my daughter as starting the school year at her old school in Arlington Texas and  then being home schooled.  They were trying to eliminate my daughter from ever being at Buda Elementary at all and Hays Independent School District. I believe they were doing this first of all to protect their themselves and second of all to file false documents for Buda Elementary's attendance records for the government so they could get more money from the government. Even with all this we still have more documents, emails and phone calls proving the falsification. Mr Saucedo on the phone recording insisted he did nothing wrong, while screwing up stating there was on visit also on Wed.

I did not know until I received the documents from the district office on Friday why he even commented on a visit on a Wednesday....yet in the phone conversation he insist he did nothing wrong.......He is a coward..he's involved in this falsification as the rest of the staff.

The truly sad part of this whole mess is my daughter, not being able to continue her speech therapy classes. It is also sad when you try and report all this to the government agencies that are involved...it's overewhelming....to the point of making me sick.

So here's the warning if your planning to move to Buda Texas and Buda Elementary don't unless you like cover ups or if you like yourchild to be withdrawn from school  by complete strangers.....like Debbie Koberlein.
