The Benefit of LCROSS / Moon Bomb
October 9, 2009 | Boise, Idaho | Vetting explained
NASA's Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite's (LCROSS) mission to verify the existence of water ice on the lunar surface.
My video talks about the basic and common sense benefits of this mission.
When we do verify the data of water's existence it will potentially make lunar colonization a very practical prospect, and this mission will save tax payers billions in federal dollars.
Enjoy my first iReport video, I will appreciate feedback and I will also take requests for more information on this topic.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
