Time in New England
October 10, 2009 | Bar Harbor/Block Island, Maine | Vetting explained
Time in New England stands still and waits for the morning fog to burn out, for the tides to take their own sweet time drifting back and forth. And lets summers linger.
The great adventure is getting on a Greyhound bus and heading to Bar Harbor. Maine- gateway to Acadia National Park (1-6) or the ferry from Port Judith out to Block Island (7-10). It makes you wish you could stay.
These are photos I've taken in Maine and Block Island, Rhode Island. Don't get me started with New England!

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
