Bring this healthcare issue into it's proper perspective. Is there any industry on this planet that is in business to intentionally put itself out of business? Can any of us look at our prescriptions and say that these will address our ailments so as to eventually eliminate the need for them? It's time for us to honestly and logically look at what is happening here.

Why is gasoline 20 cents lower 2 blocks down the street? It's a business, and they will charge what the market will bear. The healthcare industry is a business, and it will do what it must to please the investors... and that requires sustaining profits at the highest percentage bearable by the market. Are you comfortable with accepting the notion that your health "improvement" has any consideration in this business of treating ailments? If so then you've picked your mushrooms from a very fertile field!

The only differences between operating a healthcare business and an oil refinery is that the public concern for good health justifies a higher expense than driving to Grandma's. Our desire to be patriotic to "the defender of human rights" (USA) has given this industry enough opportunity to wisely invest it's early profits into infiltrating this governmental process by influencing legislation to protect it's intention to capture a 300,000,000 person market.

This current administration has brought a much needed attention to this dilemma but the hat tricks, smoke and mirrors of those who are intentionally and those who are, unfortunately, blindly caught up in this criminal fraud have misdirected the necessary focus.  Your efforts have been thus far successful but don't let your typical, self-righteous egos lead you to believe that your crimes have gone undetected.

I even hear pompus cries of necessary tort reform... you cheeky buggers!... the reform is in your own hands... STOP the malpractice! I am not for a minute challenging the talents of the individual doctors although I cannot understand why they don't stand up for themselves and fight to remove the counter-productive restrictions placed on their "true" practicing responsibilities. Hey doc, tell me I'm lying!

This government needs to remember where it's accountability lays. There is a way to allow private industry and at the same time protect it's interests... but it's interests need first to be respectable and non-abusive. If this is unacceptable to healthcare industry then it is the unavoidable responsibility of any humane government to step in and protect it's people.

I've been told that some European countries refer to us Americans as cowboys... well, I hope something gets straightened out with this healthless care before we begin to play "cowboy and CEO" or even "cowboy and politician"!   Yippie-ky-aa, doggie
