iReport —

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) rolled out of the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) at the Kennedy Space Center.

Ares 1-X will test and provide critical engineering data for the development of the next generation of NASA rockets to continue manned space flight to the International Space Station and planned lunar missions.

The test is scheduled to launch on October 27th regardless of recent review and scrutiny from the Obama Administration's independent review of the  Human Space Flight program.
