Our Wedding Highlights
October 21, 2009 | Houston, Texas | Vetting explained
Our wedding included a mix of Indian with American tradition. We were both born and brought up in the United States with both of our families from South India (State of Kerala).
You'll see in the pictures that we have both American and Indian attire included. The ceremony and reception was conducted both in English and in Malayalam (an Indian dialect).
Through our lifetime, not only were we influenced by the Indian and American traditions, we were also raised on Christian values.
Talk about diversity! Indian, American and Christian traditions and values all in one wedding! Check out the pictures!
Sincerely,
Mathew & Elizabeth Thomas

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
