HEALTH CARE HALLOWEEN: free flu shots
October 23, 2009 | Wilmette, Illinois | Vetting explained
WICKED UPDATE TO IREPORT: New life-sized characters are being added daily to this Chicagoland Halloween lawn display. Today a 4-eyed doctor was added with a huge needle and a sign that says "FREE FLU SHOTS". I guess that is what you get at this house instead of candy.
This year's theme is the Health care debate with other life-sized figures in the yard including President Obama, John McCain, John Kerry, Joe the Plumber and Sarah Palin among others. Al Gore is here dressed in green, handing out what else, green candy.
Hosting the yard in front is late night talk show host, David Letterman with his special guest Falcon Heene. Also known as Balloon Boy, standing next to a 12 foot silver balloon.
No candy here, just some political fun,,,,,,or some would say too scary for kids,,,,,,ONLY IN AMERICA!

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
