Cemetery, Sao Paulo, Brazil
October 23, 2009 | Sao Paulo, Brazil | Vetting explained
This photo was taken on a July weekend, in the middle of the Southern Hemispher Winter, in Sao Paulo Brazil. As my friend, Michelle and I were walking down to the street to visit the famous Avenida Paulista we came upon a huge urban cemetery.
Intrigued, and a bit scared, we entered the cemetery fascinated by the unique and ornate burial sites and mausoleums. As we continued walking suddenly the entire area, including the ground we walked on, became a beautiful lavender. What a stunning contrast, the dark heavy feel of a cemetery, covered with a light feeling spring-like purple.
That scene set up this photo.
