Make An Example
October 24, 2009 | Denver, Colorado | Vetting explained
It sure would be nice to see these parents get what they deserve. 1. Jail time or a prison sentence. 2. Ordered to pay restitution for the police, fire, emt, military and whoever else helped in the search for the boy. 3. I would really love to see the passengers of the delayed or rerouted planes at the Colorado airport who were affected by this hoax file a class-action lawsuit against these people for the inconvenience caused them. 4. A judge should ban these parents from seeking or receiving any payments or offers from 'reality tv' shows or any other interviews resulting from this ordeal for a period of at least 10 years. Make an example of these publicity hounds.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
