My husband is missing!
October 24, 2009 | Elizabethton, Tennessee | Vetting explained
He is gone!
My heart aches for the loss.
My days are filled with emptiness.
I pray daily for his return to me.
He was my soulmate.
We laughed and cuddled so much.
It has been 31 years of marriage!
We weathered many storms together.
Now, I sit alone, in such deafening silence.
He sits right beside me,
but is not truly there.
He may tap his fingers on a book for hours.
He may ask for coffee.
He may walk out the door, and say nothing.
He may tremble with inner turmoil.
He sits here, right beside me.
In the dark arms of Bipolar Disorder.
He is in a place I do not understand yet.
Medication MAY help him find his way home,
I do not know yet.
I sit and struggle with the necessities of life,
alone....
I wish he was here.
