The Unveiling of the New CNN.com in NYC
October 25, 2009 | New York City, New York | Vetting explained
CNN producer note
I spoke to spooly and he told me he got stuck in traffic on the way to the "unveiling" but made it to New York and got to meet some iReporters at the Hudson Hotel. He said it was delightful to meet all the other iReport members that were there.

On October 22 in NYC, I was treated to an advance peek of the new CNN.com. This footage is from the reception at the Hudson Hotel, where I spoke with other I Reporters about citizen journalism and the new CNN.com!

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
