With so much focus on the negatives news in Chicago high schools, it's time to set the record straight and bring to light the many positive things that are taking place in the city. The Chicago Scholars Onsite (www.scholarshipchicago.org/Onsite) is a program designed to ensure that scholars find a good-fit college and have options by jumpstarting the college admissions process. Scholars participating in the Onsite submit completed college applications by September of their senior year. Before the first school bell rings, our seniors have already researched and applied to 5 colleges of their choice!
Our programming accelerates the application cycle by having summer college application preparatory workshops which puts scholars ahead of traditional admission cycles and the college application process.
We are committed to having scholars receive as many options as possible by gaining admissions and scholarship from prestigious national universities. Chicago Scholars receive application and admissions feedback and scholarship awards at the Onsite Admissions Event that was held on Tuesday October 27th at the UIC Forum.
