Meeting Tim in St. Louis
June 13, 2008 | United States | Vetting explained
I met Tim as he arrived for a presentation at the St. Louis Speaker Series at Powell Hall on October 4, 2004. I had a copy of his book, Big Russ and Me, on compact disk, for him to sign. He seemed pleasantly surprised that the book was on disk and quizzed me as to where I obtained the item. He took the time to sign each compact disk and posed for this photo before entering the venue.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
