Interview with Marc Wolfson on Health Care Fraud - Public Affairs Director Office of Inspector Gen.
October 30, 2009 | Miami, Florida | Vetting explained
October 30th, 2009:
Late this afternoon I interviewed Marc Wolfson, Public Affairs Director of HHS Office of Inspector General via telephone concerning Medicare and Medicaid Health Care fraud in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties in South Florida, and the remainder of the country which, in some instances, is responsible for over 70% of health care fraud in the nation.
We also discussed fraud in key areas of the nation, the cost of fraud nationwide, the techniques used by criminals defrauding the Health Care system and what is being done in Washington D.C., Congress, and by other government offices combating this huge problem.
It was a fascinating, educational and very insightful interview.
