Here's a suggestion that can save many communities' significant time, dollars & gas in the pick up of waste. It's a very simple idea and easy to implement. I have started this on our street and am now passing the idea to everyone that I can!

HERE IT IS: Have side-by-side homes place their bins/bags on a coordinated side so that, when the truck stops, it does "two" pick-ups at the same time.

I hope you can pass this along to as many people as possible because "every little bit helps" to make the environment a bit more "more green".

Let everyone you know about this idea....

One municipality already doing this estimates that the savings could be $2-$3 households per year. While that does not sould like alot, when it is multiplied by the number of households in North America and beyond, that is a significant amount!
