Typhoon Pepeng Aftermath
November 4, 2009 | Rosales, Pangasinan, Philippines | Vetting explained
Typhoon Pepeng struck northern Phillipines on October 15th, causing great damage to the city of Pangasinan, with many casualties as a result of flooding, landslides and mudslides triggered by the heavy rain and storms.
I was one of those photographer who was given privilege to witness the devastation of Typhoon Pepeng in SM Rosales. As you can see many of the stores were completely ruined including books, goods, clothes and appliances.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
