Liam and Jamie Riley
November 4, 2009 | Wichita, Kansas | Vetting explained
Nancy,
You are truly an inspiration to me. Little did I know as I followed the progress of you and your two beautiful twins, that I would be faced with a similar fate. A year ago, while I was three months pregnant with my third child, I was struck with devastating news. I was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy with pulmonary edema. I was told that the chances of me and baby suriving were very small. In my heart I knew we would both be ok and while I was a struggling over my decision of what to do, I saw a show you did for your twins first birthday and I knew then to follow my heart and continue with the pregnancy. Liam Aidan was born January 19, 2009 by emergency c-section 14 weeks early. He weighed 1 lb and 8 oz. We have a had a long road to get to where we are now. At nine months now, he weighs 15 pounds, if off oxygen and monitors and looks like a normal healthy, happy baby! Thank you my friend, for sharing your story and giving me hope.
