Our Soldiers Being Killed In Afghanistan And Here Also!
November 5, 2009 | Chula Vista, California | Vetting explained
Just what in the world is going on? Our troops are being killed in afghanistan and also here in our own country? According to CNN 10 soldiers were killed in Fort Hood, Texas...
This is pure insanity! What triggers someone like Major Malik Nadal Hasan to do something like this?
This here is from the businessinsider.com
The suspected gunman in the Fort Hood shooting has been identified as Major Malik Nadal Hasan. He was killed and two other suspects have been apprehended, according to Army Spokesman Lt. General Robert W. Cone.
A defense official speaking on condition of anonymity to the AP says Hasan was a mental health professional — an Army psychologist or psychiatrist.
There are unconfirmed reports that Major Hasan was a convert to Islam and originally from Virginia. He was reportedly scheduled to deploy to either Iraq or Afghanistan and was unhappy about it.
It goes without saying that the fact that the shooter was a Muslim will turn this into a gigantic story.
The official says investigators are trying to determine if Hasan was his birth name, or if he changed his name and converted to the Islamic faith at some point in his life.
