HAWAII'S FURLOUGH FRIDAY'S ISSUE
November 5, 2009 | HONOLULU, Hawaii | Vetting explained
WHY HAS THERE BEEN NO CNN COVERAGE OF THE "FURLOUGH FRIDAY'S DEBACLE IN THE STATE OF HAWAII? HAWAII HAS ONE OF THE LOWEST RATINGS IN THE 50 STATES, IF NOT THE LOWEST! OUR STATE GOVERNMENT & DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION HAS FURLOUGHED TEACHERS (DUE TO BUDGET ISSUES) ON WHAT ADDS UP TO 34 MISSED SCHOOL DAYS FOR THE STUDENTS AND NO PAY FOR THE TEACHER'S. THEY'RE CALLING THURSDAYS THE NEW FRIDAYS!!! YOU FOLKS AT CNN NEED TO GET SOMEONE ON THIS STORY!!! THIS IS A DISASTER. THANKS, FROM SURFBURBIA

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
