Fort Hood Shootings
November 5, 2009 | Starbuck, Minnesota | Vetting explained
CNN producer note
Gregerboy, whose brother is serving in Iraq told me, 'It was kind of a weird turn for me to say that I was glad he was in Iraq and not Fort Hood... that is just messed up because usually it's the other way around. That's not the way it should be, it's just wrong.'
- hhanks, CNN iReport producer
I talk about the Fort Hood Shootings and that my brother is from Fort Hood and he is currently in Afganistan.
*Correction: In the video I said my brother is in Afganistan, I meant to say Iraq. My brother is in Iraq not Afganistan. Don't know why I said Afganistan, just a simple mistake.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
