iReport —

Nancy, 1st and foremost God Bless you and your family.  Your children are so beautiful and we both are so duly blessed.  HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY to them I might add.

I watch you everyday, no matter what.  I am the Proud, So Blessed, So Lucky Mom of 4 beautiful children, ages 23, 21, 19 and 15. Yes, I am married, 25 yrs. this year in August.  It doesn't take a village, it takes good parenting.  My oldest son Bryan (23) recently moved back home due to the economy and works 3 jobs right now.  My 2nd son Brent  (21) serves this country in the USAF and is stationed in Italy.  My daughter Brianna (19), is extraordinarily independent and has just been promoted in her current job and my youngest son Kevin (15) is currently in High School and enjoying his young life right now.

I applaud you for all that you have done in finding missing young children, young adults.  Recently, in the past couple of weeks I have done nothing but go to bed crying for all of the parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and families and friends  of missing children.  I have always told my husband that I wanted to be an advocate for these people, as I am so proud and lucky to have this family of mine.   Someone would have have to fight me big-time to take one of them away.

I can't imagine what it's like for you, with all of the horrible news that has to be reported, especially recently, by the way, (so ridiculously happy that, that baby was found)!

Everyone claims crisis, when they go to court to defend themselves if they need an excuse for killing or hurting their children or family.  Well, let me tell you, our family has suffered through everything.  John and I lost a child when we were 1st married, I was 5 months pregnant.  We were married in August, I was pregnant in November and lost the baby in April.  We lost our home to an insurance company after 15 years of ownership, due to a flood in our home, I almost lost 2 of my children 2nd and 4th to emergency ceasareans, May God Bless they are fine right now, one of them serves this country.  My husband suffered a heart attack 3 yrs. ago at 44 and ended up having Quadruple Bypass Surgery, he also has Diabetes, Seliacs Disease, Neuropathy (from the Diabetes), you name it.  I have High Blood Pressure, Anemia and early stages of Arthritis at 48.  But nothing has ever driven me to kill.

Most importantly I wanted you to see what I am most proud of, My Family, some of the pictures were taken when Brent was home on leave in June for his cousins wedding, Grandpop (my husbands) dad was in several of them with our children and our nieces and nephews.  Our extended immediately family and ours consist of 26 people, 4 brothers, 4 sister-in-laws, 15 nieces and nephews, 1 great nephew, and 1 niece and nephew in law and most importantly our Dad and Grandpop!!  He is probably the most important, most dedicated man I have ever met in my life.  It's my husbands father.  He knows I love him and may God Bless our family.

I hope you enjoy our family pictures!!

Love you, Donna
