FEAR means "False Evidence Appearing Real".......
he acted on fear and drove him to death.....a killing spree.....of unsuspecting and underserving soliders and one civilian......very very sad and tragic day at Fort Hood.......
RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - If you think today's shooting spree on Ft. Hood was an act of terrorism, the suspect's cousin in northern Virginia says "think again." He claims Major Malik Nadal Hasan was pushed over the edge by the same government he had sworn to protect.
Nadal Hasan was born in Virginia, to Muslim parents and lived at various times all over the state. He graduated from Virginia Tech University, where he was a member of the ROTC and graduated with a degree in biochemistry. The military was always part of his plan but according to his cousin in northern Virginia, the September 11 attacks changed everything.
"It was the harassment that got to him, him being referenced from his Middle Eastern ethnicity even though he was born and raised here and went to high school in northern Virginia, and Roanoke, Virginia and went to Virginia Tech," said Nader Hasan, cousin of suspected shooting suspect.
By the time he moved to this apartment complex in Maryland and began his internship at Walter Reed Army Hospital, things only got worse. But then a move to Ft. Hood made life in the military intolerable.
"He hired a military attorney to try to have the issue resolved pay back to the government to get out of the military. That was it. He was at the end of trying everything to try to make everybody fair and reasonable him get out of the situation so I am really shocked," said Nader. The cousin said that he and his family are just learning today that Nadal was set to be
deployed to the Middle East, something he calls
his cousin's worst fear.
Late Thursday night they released this statement by Nader Hasan: "As Nidal Hasan's first cousin, and because his parents are no longer alive, I wanted to issue a statement on behalf of my family. We are shocked and saddened by the terrible events at Fort Hood today. We send the families of the victims our most heartfelt sympathies. We, like most of America, know very few details at this time. Here is what we do know about our cousin. Nidal was an American citizen. He was born in Arlington, Virginia and raised here in America. He attended local high schools and eventually went on to attend Virginia Tech. We are filled with grief for the families of today's victims. Our family loves America. We are proud of our country, and saddened by today's tragedy. Because this situation is still unfolding, we have nothing else that we are able to share with you at this time."
Hasan's daily routine of getting coffee and hashbrown's at a convenience store hours before the shooting......
Please pray for the families and victims.....a senseless and unnecessary tragedy....
Blessings, peace and safety at Fort Hood,
