Staten Island Ferry Closed Due to Overcrowding
November 6, 2009 | New York City, New York | Vetting explained
Yankees have a parade in the New York City today and it has proven to be to much for the Staten Island Ferry. Getting loyal fans to the city seemed not to be a problem. However about an hour ago, NYPD police officers had to be called in inorder to control the overcrowded terminal. The police came just in time before someone was going to be seriously hurt. People were screaming, and kids were crying as more and more people filled the overcrowded terminal. Now that the Staten Island Ferry is closed, fans must find an alternative way to get home. Hopefully the express buses won't close down as well.
