Ode to our son and Oscar the Grouch
November 6, 2009 | Charlottesville, Virginia | Vetting explained
Our sons and I grew up on Sesame Street. It was a daily staple for our mornings. I love all the character and all the songs, especially one song, "Listen to the wind blow".
Oscar the Grouch made being grouchy OK and funny.
We all loved the Sesame Street gang. Thank you, guys and gals.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
