CNN producer note
stevedonohue said some people came from nearby states to see the parade for the Yankees following their World Series win. He said many people didn't get to see the parade and instead were directed to a JumboTron screen near City Hall. "People seemed to be having a good time, throwing confetti in the air even though they weren't actually watching the Yankees," he said.
