iReport —

Four people have just been sentenced to death by hanging for killing a 50 year-old Albino and removed his body parts for riches - ritual purpose.

These sad tales about Albino killings in Tanzania have been going to for years. Is it out of ignorant that the Tanzanians murder their fellow ones just because of colour differences? Or is it out of stupidity?

What makes them think killing Albinos bring wealth and riches? This is not the age of the primate where people can just freely murder their fellow ones for food.

If the Tanzania government fail to enforce stronger laws, there is no doubt that these Albino killings will not continue.

If reminded me of those days when the killing of twins were rampart in some states in Nigeria. Then, twins were considered evils and to wipe off such ‘supposed’ demons, they ended up killings twins children without mercy. Thank goodness Mary Slessor fought and put an end to this in Nigeria.

The question is; how long will the Albino killings continues? This is a strong warning to any Albino outside of Tanzania; if you are contemplating on taking your vacation as far as Tanzania, then I bet you must pause and do thorough rethink unless you don’t want to live anymore.

To me, as far as Tanzania is concerned, it is not a safe haven for Albinos from all over the world.

So to all Albinos on planet earth, please avoid going to Tanzania! It doesn’t worth it!
