Kew Gardens
November 7, 2009 | Kew, United Kingdom | Vetting explained
Kew Gardens in England celebrated it's 250th year. What fascinated me about the organization in general was the Millennium Seed Bank. They reached their goal this year of collecting and storing 10% of the world's plant seeds. Kew Gardens is saving plant species for the future of humanity. This is a Global undertaking.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
