Fort Hood shooting
November 7, 2009 | San Bernardino, California | Vetting explained
The Military's own security is the blame. NO person should have been able to walk or drive through the front gates with ANY weapon. When returning from weekend pass at Camp Pendleton security was always tight.. The security FT. HD had. responded as well as they could. But, there is NO EXCUSE. Now, we will hear of copycats. I hope this time they will NOT stumble. we know lives are at risk, I have family in the military and want them and there comrades safe.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
