Salute to our Husbands
November 7, 2009 | Texas | Vetting explained
I’m Melissa Kuester. And, I’m Larissa ter Veer. We want to salute our husbands, Major Chris Kuester and Sr. Airman Dirk ter Veer. Both are currently deployed.
We want to let you both know that your family, friends, and dogs miss you and are very proud of you. Don’t worry. We’re plugging along here at home. And, we’re getting plenty of shopping done while you’re away. Stay safe. See you soon. We love you.
We also want to recognize all military families. November is Military Family Appreciation Month.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
