Belmont Arts Center Glass Jam
November 8, 2009 | pensacola, Florida | Vetting explained
Belmont Arts Center is located in Pensacola, Florida and is a wonderful non-profit community center. This small and struggling arts center has a large following and support group. It offers classes in pottery, glass blowing, youth band and much more. It host a number of special events all year to help keep the center's doors open to the public and tonight's event was one of it's best. It was called "Glass Jam" with local and national Glass Artist, Randy Kuntz, Scott Novata, Steve Palmer, Thomas Spake, Herb Thomas, Joe Hobbs, Mark Rosenbaum, and Tony Cray. The draw tonight was that people could bid on the pieces as they watched them being blown. What a great thing to see as talented artist took blobs of 2,000 degree glass and turned them into works of art.
