Berlin 1989 New Year's eve
November 8, 2009 | Berlin, Germany | Vetting explained
My fiance was an exchange student in 1989 and over Chritmas break I flew to Germany to spend two weeks there. For New Year's eve we rented a car and drove to Berlin. This photo was taken at the New Year's eve celebration at near Brandenburg gate and Check point charlie. Notice the hand of an East Berliner reaching through the wall. More photos to be posted on my face book page (Doug Hand)

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
