The Soldier
November 8, 2009 | Longboat Key, Florida | Vetting explained
To Our Men and Women, past present and future. Thank you for your service. God Bless you and God Bless America.
It is the soldier, not any President, who gives us DEMOCRACY.
It is the soldier not the congress, who takes care of his country.
It is the soldier not the reporter, who helps to provide us with Freedom of the press.
It is the soldier not the the poet, who has given us and protects our Freedom of speech.
It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate.
It is the soldier who salutes the flag.
It is because of the soldier, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, that the protester has the freedom to burn the flag.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
