Skydiving in the Houston Area
November 8, 2009 | Houston, Texas | Vetting explained
Houston has the perfect Fall weather to go skydiving. A group of us decided one Saturday morning to face our fear of skydiving - head on!
The weather was perfect!
The skydive itself was amazing! I was really suprised that there was no sense of falling, or your stomach coming up into your mouth; I read later, that because the plane is flying at approx 120mph, and you jump out of the plane and immediately start free-falling at the same speed it equals itself out.
Enjoy the video. If you have an inclination to go jump - do it! It is one less thing on my "Bucket List."

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
