an evaluation of the sound system of Accord
November 8, 2009 | Tianjin, China | Vetting explained
I am a designer of speaker used in the car,and I worked for Fujitsu-ten known as a company of Japanese, which produce sound system and navigation system and CD player system for cars, especially for TOYOTA,for almost 3 years.
recently,we got to evaluate the sound system of Accord,a car produced by Honda,a Japanese company too.The purpose of the evaluation is to find out the difference of the sound system between Accord and Camry which is pruduced by Toyota as our primary customer.
We got a Camry, but didn' have an Accord,so the first thing we got to do is to rent a Accord.
Then we rented one from a person, which cost our company 600RMB a day, that's about $90,very expensive.
When we began to start, the problem is appearing.
We need to play the test-CD(which called the pink noise) in a way of loud volume which was required by the evaluation and not gonna harm the speakers of the car.But the owner of the Accord we rented didn't kown about that,so he asked me and my partner it is better to turn the volume down a little, after all that is his own car.So my partner was not happy after his ask,you know,it cost our 600RMB to rent it.So he said to him that it is required by the evaluation, and if he didn't like the way we were going to do with his car,he can leave just with 100RMB costed for the fuel of the car consumed to got our company.Of course, the owner wasn't comfortable by hearing that.So there was a disbute for a while.
In that case,I stoped them. And then I explained the whole requirement of the evaluation we were doing. Finally we got a compromise that we do that loud volume testing as quickly as we can.Of course we finished that evaluation in time.
There are lots of unhappy things between our people, and when that happen,we have to calm ourselves down and work that peacefully. The most important thing is we gotta have our jobs done.
