Tucson's All Souls Procession ~ Awesome!
November 10, 2009 | Tucson, Arizona | Vetting explained
All Souls Procession:
This unique Tucson event is now celebrating its 20th year! What started as a performance piece by an artist to honor her father has now evolved into a mega event that attracted 20,000 participants, revelers, and onlookers.
A 2-mile long procession walked through downtown Tucson and culminated with burning written slips of paper recording hopes, wishes, and prayers in a large urn. The fantastic performance group Flam Chen provided a fire-dance finale.
