CNN producer note

TazzAnderson told me, 'The wind was tremendous and at times nearly knocked my two hundred pound frame off my feet, the sideways rain stung the skin, the ocean was absolutely ferocious.'

iReport —

Nor'Ida as it has been appropriately named, hammers the Virginia Beach oceanfront with hurricane force fury on Thursday, November 12, 2009.  One of the most intriguing, but least spoken of elements of a storm such as this, is the buildup of sea foam from the severe churning of the surf. That foam, an almost jello-like substance made up of sea water and sand, builds up along the coast and eventually the streets, as seen in part of this clip, and creeps ever so slowly, almost like a lava stream, towards it's destination. In this clip the sea foam at one point is over a foot deep.  By the way, no gazebos were hurt in the filming of this video. The one witnessed on Atlantic Avenue actually survived the pounding, but might need a tad bit of work done to it. Anyway, enjoy witnessing the sheer force of mother nature's fury.
