Dear Sanjay, Dr. Gupta, my name is Doug and I had a problem with what my doctor called edema and very fast and obease weight gain in a very short amount of time. I did not suspect parasites in my body however when it first occurred to me that I did have a blood parasite I went online and found the perscribed medication and went to the pet store and bought enough dog wormer for a 200 pound dog to be wormed for blood flukes. I didnt get the perscribed drug just a wormer it cost 40 dollars. Next I went to my Dr. who pshawed the whole notion but I told him I would take dog wormer if he didn't perscribe the medication. He didn't he perscribed something else and it didn't work. So I went back and got the name I knew in a dog wormer for 400 pounds and it didn't work either. Anyway that was a year ago, Now I've studied the behavior enough to know about these things and even though I went to emergency here to announce that I had pulled out the parasite and had a sample and talk about some of what it does got the diagnosis of pnemonia and I refused the antibiotics because they do not work on this parasite and I do not have pnemonia. And they said you will die and I said no I won't.
Any way I can't get no medical help because I am diagnosed bipolar and supposed to be delusional and hallucinagenic.  Those pictures are no hallucination Doctor and I've taken microbiology at UCD and know of no class phyla genus nor species that this parasite fits in. This is not a blood fluke. Doctor would you please help me identify this organism. I have these two samples and there are more. I do not agree that I am the only person in the world with this parasite. I will do a cnn story with you and I ask for nothing. Carte blanche. Please get in touch. Doug Brown
