Upgrading to windows 7
November 16, 2009 | Mason, Ohio | Vetting explained
I recently upgraded my computers to Windows 7 from Vista. On one, the upgrade went smooth without any issues. However, I encountered some strange things after upgrading the other. Basically, I had to do a base Windows 7 install and reinstall all my other software to resolve the issues. Microsoft wants to charge for support so I'd recommend doing a base install before contacting them. There were issues with Outlook hyperlinks and some clients freezing up. Not sure why the upgrade works some of the time.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
