VALERO OIL REFINERY TO LAY OFF ALL 1500 EMPLOYEES TODAY WITH NO WARNING!

The Valero Oil Refinery Plant in Delaware City, De called the State Police this morning, requesting troopers to be there on standby to quell rioting because they planned to lay off about 50 employees. When the troopers arrived, Valero officials advised the troopers they were in fact laying off the entire staff of 1500, and closing the plant. As of 0930, all officers from Troop 9 are at the plant, including troopers from the next troop over.
