Being a former student at the University of California Santa Cruz, I can completley understand the frustration that many students feel with the 32% fee hike. But at the same time, the occupation of the administration building by students, and the call for boycott of school/class by students and teachers is hypocritical to the entire cause of the protest. Its one thing to protest the fee hikes, its another thing to prevent the school from operating and prevent students who genuinly want to attend class and lecture from doing so, because of the human chains, picket lines, and boycotts.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
