In her best performance in 10 years, Sandra Bullock shines as a Southern Belle in Memphis, Tennessee, who with her husband (Played with excellence by Tim McGraw) take in a homeless black teen with big sports dreams.
This is the true story of Michael Oher, who was drafted into the NFL this year to the Baltimore Ravens. Its set in the deep south, where college football is king, and this is a "Tear Jerker" that will uplift your holiday spirits.
It's a formula sports film for sure, but this is different, you truly feel for the characters - and their stories. The timing is perfect, as the film is set around the fall and Thanksgiving Holidays.
It's a family movie that only has one scene of violence, hence the PG-13 Rating. The picture broke records this weekend, as the largest sports theme film debut ever, and it also kicked in with Bullock's largest debut ever, coming in second behind "New Moon" at a $34M estimate. Grade: A

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
