Preview Debrecen, Liverpool
November 24, 2009 | kampala, Uganda | Vetting explained
Tonight is a night of reckoning for Liverpool and it's out of their hands. It doesn't matter what result they get from Hungary against Debrecen who don't yet have a single point from any of their group E champions league games so far as long as Fiorentina win against Lyon because then, Liverpool's hopes of progressing to the knock out phases will be crashed. But Liverpool need to worry about their own business before worrying about the Fiorentina game. They need to win well to keep any slim chances alive. But they will have to do it without Fernando Torres and Ryan Babel who scored an excellent goal against Lyon away in their last European game.
