King of Times Square
November 24, 2009 | New York, New York | Vetting explained
As part of the area as the bright lights and the crowds, he used to stand right at the intersection of Broadway and 7th Avenue. With the new pedestrian blocks, he's had to give up that spotlight, but still draws a crowd.
In the area that's considered the most photographed spot in New York City, he's probably the most photographed person.
This guy has been part of the scene for years. Rain, shine, heat, humidity or freezing cold.
I've taken photos of weddings, fire-eaters, models in bikinis and speedos, Yankee fans- you can see it all in Times Square, so why not the Naked Cowboy? It's as New York City as it gets.
No fancy stuff for him, just your basic FOTL!

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
