At The Macy's Parade
November 26, 2009 | New York, New York | Vetting explained
Here are some photos from the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, from around 57th Street, down through Times Square and just before I got on the subway on 34th Street. It's cool to see the way the parade characters mingle with the city, the ingenious ways people find to have a better view, who they take to the parade (in the case of the Strongs, well their puppy) and how the street signs along 7th Avenue were taken down so the baloons could march by. Was it crowded?

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
